An imprtant aspect of Islam that is most abused these daysis the knowledge of kufr and it’s types. Many times a person that is studying Islam and the Sciences comes across the name of Ibn Taymiyyah, and for readers of this blog that name should not come across as strange. But what does happen is that people start to have battles amongst each other, one side using Al-Ghazzali as proof while the other uses Ibn Taymiyyah.

We have been blessed with The Qur’an, The Uncreated Word of Allah The Everlasting Most Merciful, and as a guide as to how to use the Qur’an Allah sent His last and Final Messenger, Muhammad Ibn Abdulla peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

Everything he did, we should do, everything he abstained from, we need to stop doing.

If we only understood, that the ur’an was revealed to people who were alive, we would change our perspectives completely, The best surah you can recite is the one you recite while you are alive!

The servant is always in the blessings of Allah, which necessitate thankfulness, and in sinfulness, which requires seeking forgiveness. Both of these matters are required and essential for the servant at all times, as the servant does not cease to alternate between Allah’s (various) favours and blessings, and does not cease to be in need of repentance and seeking forgiveness.

This is why the Master of the Children of Adam, and the Leader of the Pious, Muhammad, (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) sought forgiveness in all circumstances. He said in an authentic Hadith reported by al-Bukhari:
