Todays’ google scholarship standard, that every other muslim meets, has produced some incredibly evil people, and all these evil people do, is critique others. We find the left wing claiming that Ibn Taymiyyah was a deviant of sorts. Not only do they falsify statements and misinterpret his works, they bring false proof from his contemporarys claiming they also thought the same, on top of that, we have modern day “scholars” who claim the same manhaj as Ibn Taymiyyah, that are now distancing themselves from him.
The claims as expected are many, the shaikh wrote thousands of risalahs, and the critique is expected, but how much of Ibn Taymiyyah is really known by these very people. I hope that by the end of this article the reader is more informed on the person that many call Shaikh Al-Islaam, so that they can themselves without coercion make their own minds up on what Ibn Taymiyyah really believed and taught. … More A LITTLE MORE ON IBN TAYMIYYAH – HIS TASHBEEH? – HIS BELIEFS? – IS HELL ETERNAL? – WHAT THE CONTEMPORARYS SAID

I proudly punded my chest for many years claiming I was a salafi, in Aqeedah, In Fiqh, In the understanding of Tawheed…. in everything you can imagine nd mention. Then I started studying Islam, and many times found my self perplexed by many of the opinions I held, realizing that those very opinions were based upon the ijtihad of a scholar.
No matter how much I tried to shake taqleed away and remain upon Al-Itiba’a, I found my self in uncharted territory. This write up below will, in sha Allah, further the foundations put in place by the madhahib and their respected jurrists, over the centuries. Sometimes, we need to learn more to understand how much we actually are ignorant off.
No matter what level a student’s intelligence and determination reaches, he cannot be a Mujtahid in every legal issue, comprehending the study of their evidences from the standpoint of Prophetic tradition, linguistics, legal principles and jurisprudence. So it is inevitable that he will need to follow a scholar [Taqlīd] in a majority of legal issues. Adhering to a school will keep him occupied and is preferable for him in the face of evidence of equal weight and the absence of one view being prominent over another- so he follows his ‘Imām.
Since all the contemporaries who attack adherence to a juristic school and following [an ‘Imām] end up following ‘Ibn Bāz, ‘Ibn Uthaymīn, al-‘Albānī or others like them, may Allah have mercy on them, they run away from following one of the four A’immah and follow someone less than them [in knowledge]. … More DO WE NEED TO FOLLOW A MADHHAB – WHICH SCHOLAR – IS IT TAQLEED IF EVERYONE IS DOING IT?

The first thing that every married Muslim must realize is that one’s spouse is first and foremost another Muslim. He/she is one’s brother and sister in Islam. Therefore, at minimum all rights that fall upon a Muslim due to the general brotherhood of Islam are also due to one’s spouse. It is a sad situation for a Muslim brother or sister to respect their Muslim brothers and sisters outside of the house but for the situation in the house to degenerate into less even than that minimum standard of respect and kindness inside the household. Therefore the first step is for every Muslim to open some of the books about respect, manners (adab) and courtesy towards other Muslims and to realize that all of those principles apply to their partner in their house. One of the concerning matters which have now come about (last 5-10 years), is the matter of Muslims leaving populations of people and establishing their own little villages, where there are 10-15 houses and they are completely isolated from the people and the jamaah of the Muslim body.
Many times when asked why do you do such and such act, they will reply we are trying to salvage our emaan by moving away from the sinners and their like. This practice has become so common in Bosnia, that there are now multiple villages where only people of a certain manhaj live. Now from a distance one may say, there is nothing wrong here, they have seperated themselves from the Dhalimeen and the Kufar, but here is where the problem starts, because they have also seperated themselves from the Muslimeen.
And in many cases the owners of these houses live in the west, living in the lands of the Kufar and paying taxes in the lands of the Kufar, enjoying satellite TV, fast internet and all the latest gadgets, but when they come to Bosnia on a holiday, they proudly live in a Shari Village, with no electricity or internet access, but only for a few weeks. … More SHARI VILLAGES AND LEAVING THE MAIN BODY OF MUSLIMS – WE MUST MIX WITH THE PEOPLE – ARE SHARI VILLAGES A REALITY?
