WHO ARE THE KHAWARIJ – ARE THEY AMONGST US TODAY – HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE KHARIJI TENDENCIES? – WERE THE KHAWARIJ SALAFI? – FIQH OF KHARIJITES

The Ulama are not to be found amongst the Khawarij, hence not a single Sahabi was amongst them, and what they do is paint all of the Ulama of Islam with the same brush, everyone becomes an Alim Al-Sultan, everyone becomes a Murji’ah and a Munafiq or a Kafir, and to fill that gap they propel the similar thinking young ones amongst themselves to become their people of knowledge.

Until they start to split and make takfir and Tabdi of one another. And they will keep splitting till the day of Judgement, until, as the hadith says: “The Dajjal appears amongst them”. … More WHO ARE THE KHAWARIJ – ARE THEY AMONGST US TODAY – HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE KHARIJI TENDENCIES? – WERE THE KHAWARIJ SALAFI? – FIQH OF KHARIJITES

HARAM WATER – ISTIHRAM & ISTIHLAL – THE LOCAL SHAIKH MADE PEPSI HARAM – HOW DO WE KNOW IF SOMETHING IS PERMISSIBLE TO USE OR EAT

The principle ruling concerning any kind of matter is that of permissibility and purity (That is, they are to be considered permissible and pure unless proven otherwise).

If someone, therefore, claims that an object is impure, or haram, then the burden of proof is upon him to bring forth some evidence for the impurity of that object.

If he does, his conclusion will be followed.

If he is not able to bring forth such proof or if he does not present an acceptable proof, then our judgment will be according to the original principle, and the original principle is, that it is free of any impurity.

This applies to all matters and all foods. Unless they are explicitly forbidden to us, either via the Speech of Allah or the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ, the product/food/liquid/material is permissable for us to eat/drink/taste/use. … More HARAM WATER – ISTIHRAM & ISTIHLAL – THE LOCAL SHAIKH MADE PEPSI HARAM – HOW DO WE KNOW IF SOMETHING IS PERMISSIBLE TO USE OR EAT

It is reported that Ḥudhayfah b. Al-Yamān – Allāh be pleased with him – said:

True misguidance is that you approve now what you used to repudiate before (because it was wrong) and repudiate now what you used to approve before; and be aware of changing colours in the religion, for the religion of Allāh is one.

Ibn Baṭṭah, Al-Ibānatu Al-Kubrā ḥadīth 25, and others.

It is reported that ʿAdī b. Ḥātim – Allāh be pleased with him – said:

NIQAB SUNNAH OR WAJIB – FACE COVER MANDATORY OR PRESCRIBED – CAN I TAKE MY NIQAB OFF – PDF

And though we have an evolution of sort, of the Hijab over the centuries, there is also many different cultures who were contemporaries of one another, all claiming to follow the Qur’an and Sunnah, yet all had different concepts of the modest clothes a woman would and should wear.

The difference between the Hijab and the khimar is that the Hijab is something which covers all of a woman’s body, whilst the khimar in general is something with which a woman covers her head. Niqab is that with which a woman veils her face (tantaqib)… … More NIQAB SUNNAH OR WAJIB – FACE COVER MANDATORY OR PRESCRIBED – CAN I TAKE MY NIQAB OFF – PDF

It is reported that Sālim [b. ‘Abdillāh b. ‘Umar b. Al-Khattāb] – Allāh have mercy on him – was asked to listen to someone leading the prayer. When he heard the recitation he turned back exclaiming: “Singing! Singing!”

Ibn Dāwūd [‘Abdullāh b. Dāwūd b. ‘Āmir Al-Khuraybī] – Allāh have mercy on him – was once asked by Bishr b. Al-Ḥārith:

If I pass by a man reciting, should I sit and listen? He asked, “Does he become euphoric[2] (because of emotional recitation)?” Bishr replied, “Yes.” Ibn Dāwūd said, “He has shown his bid’ah, do not sit with him.” … More QUR’AN RECITED MELODIOUSLY – ALMOST SONG LIKE – HALAL OR NOT
