بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Allah Ta’ala says:
واعتصموا بحبل الله جميعا ولا تفرقوا واذكروا نعمت الله عليكم إذ كنتم أعداء فألف بين قلوبكم فأصبحتم بنعمته إخوانا وكنتم على شفا حفرة من النار فأنقذكم منها كذلك يبين الله لكم آياته لعلكم تهتدون
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.” Q 2:103
And Allah Ta’ala says:
وأطيعوا الله ورسوله ولا تنازعوا فتفشلوا وتذهب ريحكم واصبروا إن الله مع الصابرين
“And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” Q 8:46
Jundab bin ‘Abdullah said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
من قاتل تحت راية عمية يقاتل عصبية ويغضب لعصبية فقتلته جاهلية
‘Whoever fights for a cause that is not clear, advocating tribalism, getting angry for the sake of tribalism, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah.”
In another hadith:
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
من خرج من الطاعة وفارق الجماعة فمات مات ميتة جاهلية ومن خرج على أمتي يضرب برها وفاجرها لا يتحاشى من مؤمنها ولا يفي لذي عهدها فليس مني ومن قاتل تحت راية عمية يدعو إلى عصبية أو يغضب لعصبية فقتل فقتلة جاهلية
‘Whoever parts from obedience, and splits away from the Jama’ah and dies, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah. Whoever rebels against my Ummah, killing good and evil people alike, and does not try to avoid killing the believers, and does not pay attention to those who are under a covenant, then he is not of me. Whoever fights for a cause that is not clear, advocating tribalism, getting angry for the sake of tribalism, and he is killed, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah.”
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said:
لا تباغضوا، ولا تحاسدوا، ولا تدابروا، وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا، ولا يحل لمسلم أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاثة أيام
“Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert each other, and O, Allah’s worshipers! Be brothers. Lo! It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days.”
Further RasulAllaah said:
وعنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : والذي نفسي بيده لا تدخلوا الجنة حتى تؤمنوا ولا تؤمنوا حتى تحابوا أولا أدلكم على شيء إذا فعلتموه تحاببتم: أفشوا السلام بينكم
“By Him in Whose Hand my soul is! You will not enter Jannah until you believe, and you shall not believe until you love one another. May I inform you of something, if you do, you love each other. Promote greeting amongst you (by saying As-salamu ‘alaikum to one another)”.
MAAY ALLAH ALLOW US TO TRULY LOVE FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THAT WHICH WE LOVE FOR OUR OWN KIDS AND OUR SELVES.
