In the Hadīth of Ibn ‘Abbās (r) that the Messenger of Allāh saws said in Sahih Muslim:
“When you see the new moon of Dhu’l-Hijjah, if one of you wants to offer a sacrifice, let him refrain from (cutting) his hair and nails.”

“There are no days in which good deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days.”

إِنَّ مَا أَتَخَوَّفُ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلٌ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ حَتَّى رُئِيَتْ بَهْجَتُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَكَانَ رِدْئًا لِلإِسْلامِ غَيَّرَهُ إِلَى مَا شَاءَ الِلَّهِ فَانْسَلَخَ مِنْهُ وَنَبَذَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ وَسَعَى عَلَى جَارِهِ بِالسَّيْفِ وَرَمَاهُ بِالشِّرْكِ

In a world that is governed by self-help books and gurus of every type on every second ad we see on our phones, tablets and laptops. We sometimes need to stop and reflect on the blessing and the cure we already have. Yes you have the cure for every disease.

Mulims get stuck in the whole complex world of trying to be better, in the process forgetting that betterment and positivity can only come through the will of Allah. Once we understand that the only cure to everything is the Will of Allah. The Speech of Allah, is the cure, and once understood, we can start seeking for the exact  cure for our pain in His Book, The Qur’an and in the sunnah of His last and Final Messenger, peace be upon him.
